Socrates Project Seminar. The Socrates Project Seminar allows exceptional senior undergraduate students to become teaching assistants for a 1st year PHL course. In addition to grading and leading tutorials, Socrates Project students enroll in PHL489Y1 as a condition of their employment. Students are expected to apply for the Socrates Project in March prior to the start of the Fall/Winter term. Admission to the Socrates Project is limited to students enrolled in a Philosophy or Bioethics program. A minimum of 80% in PHL courses is required. Individual Studies. Not eligible for CR/NCR option. Students must complete an Individual Study application form (found on the Department of Philosophy website) in consultation with their proposed faculty supervisor. The application form must be submitted to the Undergraduate Administrator by the first day of classes.
