The course provides an introduction to Estonian culture and examines the multicultural past of Estonia. The course explores the legacy of Baltic Germans, Swedes, Finns, Poles, Russians, Ukrainians, and other ethnic groups in Estonia. Topics include literature, theatre, music, arts and architecture, environmental issues, minorities, regional dialects, and, last but not least, politics. Taught in English, all materials in English.
