How can new ideas and technologies be transformed into valuable startups? This course introduces a strategic framework for innovation-driven entrepreneurship, focusing on the key choices startup founders face. It emphasizes the balance between experimentation and learning on the one hand and making core strategic decisions to build a competitive edge on the other. Through interactive lectures, case studies, and hands-on exercises, students will apply the framework across a range of industries. The course is highly discussion-based - attendance and active participation are an important part of the assessment, and the use of electronic devices during class is strongly discouraged. The course is not eligible for CR/NCR option.
