This course explores the reciprocal relationship between politics and cultural forms, including literature, film, and digital media. How do these forms represent historical and contemporary political issues, and how might these representations define our horizons of political possibility? Topics may include ideology and belief; utopian, dystopian, and cautionary tales; and the politics of voice and representation. Restricted to first-year students. Not eligible for CR/NCR option.
