Following experience from PCL472Y1 or PCL474Y1, this course provides students an opportunity to continue to expand and develop their research skills and knowledge within a research laboratory or applied pharmacology setting. Students will develop advanced collaboration skills, good lab practices, scientific literacy, critical thinking and evaluation skills while applying their knowledge and trouble shooting skills to practical research questions. Written and oral communication skills as well as laboratory skills will comprise course assessments. Students are required to participate in active research and related activities for the equivalent of a minimum of 200 hours of laboratory time. NOTE: As this is an opportunity to continue their research, students are required to continue within the same PCL472Y1/ PCL474Y1 research laboratory/supervisor. Not eligible for CR/NCR option.
