This course examines works by writers of Italian descent, focusing on themes linked to the second-generation experience, such as intergenerational conflict, gender relations, the return journey, and the quest for identity. The comparative approach of this investigation will bring within the same framework the diasporic literatures of Canada, the United States, Argentina, Brazil, Australia, and of other countries.
