This course provides a deeper exploration of the major approaches and domains within cognitive science. Building on introductory concepts, it examines perception and attention, language and cognition, thinking and reasoning, computational models of cognition, and the relationship between cognition and the brain. Through these topics, students are introduced to the five thematic streams of the Cognitive Science program and to advanced tools and methodologies used across the field. The course emphasizes integrating insights from philosophy, psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, and computer science to develop a foundational understanding of how cognitive processes are studied and modeled.
