AST424H1: Introduction to Astrophysical Research

A guided research project that develops methods and skills applicable to the physical sciences, with an emphasis on communication, data analysis, and applied computing. This course is intended for students in the final year of the Astronomy & Astrophysics Major or students in the third or fourth-year of the Astronomy & Astrophysics Specialist program. Students are required to attend the weekly departmental colloquia or seminars. Not eligible for CR/NCR option.

AST320H1 (or AST221H1 and AST222H1 and a minimum GPA of B+ in Astronomy program courses and the permission of the Undergraduate Chair and the prospective adviser)
